I was invited to present my application „Virtual Scoring Stage“ at this year’s „klingt gut!“ symposium for sound design at the HAW campus in Hamburg. „Virtual Scoring Stage“ is a video game that allows you to move around a 3D model of the Film Orchestra Babelsberg’s scoring stage, kind of inspired by the Berlin Philharmonic’s Digital Concert Hall. The audio dynamically changes, depending on your location. I programmed the application using Unity and FMOD. It’s par
t of a greater project called „Film | Orchestra | 360°“ which Stephan Köthe and I presented at the Tonmeistertagung 29 later this year.
It was a great experience to be there among so many sound enthusiasts, especially Michael Williams, who had his slot right after mine!
